About Us

Cevistor Ltd was formed by Richard Westlake in 2006 to provide Engineering and Project management services to the aviation industry.

Richard has enjoyed a 30 year career in civil aviation, starting in civil aircraft maintenance in the late ‘70s. Shortly after gaining his engineering license, he held the position of Chief Engineer for two different companies for a period of 7 years. In both cases he was responsible for forming and then managing the maintenance engineering departments, supporting public service aircraft.

A desire for change brought about the creation of an aircraft modifications facility in support of specialist operational roles such as Police and Air Ambulance operations in the early ‘90s. Responsible for CAA/JAA/EASA approved design and production departments, Richard successfully Project Managed over 500 aircraft modifications from production of bid to delivery of operational aircraft over a period spanning some 14 years.

A confident communicator, Richard has enjoyed having regular direct liaison with Customers, MoD, Home Office, Airworthiness Authorities and aircraft manufacturers at up to CEO level. Also project teams comprising design, production, operations, HR, finance, legal, maintenance and logistics departments.

Richard is a full member of the Association for Project Management.
